- While most SF'ers were out tuning up their golf game or bike, I spent the weekend skiing at Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe. Never mind the fact that it was closer to 70 than 17. Snow was still available for the most part. I can't remember the last time I skied without my ski jacket. Too bad I'd forgotten my shades.
It's always sad to say goodbye to skiing. 2007 was a good year for me - Colorado, Whistler, 2 trips to Tahoe chalked up to some great ski stories, various conditions, and some diverse terrain. Farewell winter, hello foggy spring.
